Created by an African American expatriate in Europe as a place to celebrate women in the African Diaspora living in Europe. Sisters around the world unite! It ain't where you're from it's where you're at.
I blog because I want to raise the positive profile of Black Women in Europe. In addition to this blog I created a social network for us so that we can support each other.
I also have a lens on Squidoo and will give 40% of my earnings to the Jackie Robinson Foundation and another 40% to the Room to Read Charity. Take a look at my lens and spread the word.
Thank you and be well.

My blog is worth $35,001.48.
How much is your blog worth?

Considering all that African Americans have encountered I would say the period during the 50s &60s were the biggest and most important moments. During this time millions of African Americans mobilized and through the struggle engendered rights that ALL Americans enjoy.
It is really scary how people are minimizing the long and proud history of African Americans. I am very disappointed that people are even making such broad sweeping statements in light of such a proud past.
It is definitely debatable which is THE biggest moment in modern Black history. I think Obama's nomination for US President is ONE of them.
